Source Verification

Before an engine even enters our workshop, we verify its history. We check the donor vehicle's records, confirm mileage where possible, and reject any unit with unknown flood, fire, or salvage history. If we can't verify where an engine came from, we don't buy it — simple as that.

Visual & Structural Inspection

Our technicians inspect the engine inside and out:

• Cylinder head and block checked for cracks and damage
• Gaskets and seals inspected for leaks or previous repairs
• Intake and exhaust ports examined for corrosion or foreign objects
• Mounting points checked for stress fractures
• Externally cleaned so every flaw is visible — and photographed

Compression Test

This is the heartbeat of our process. We perform a compression test on every cylinder, on a warm engine where possible, and record the numbers. Each cylinder must read within the manufacturer's acceptable range — and within close tolerance of the others. Low or uneven compression means the engine doesn't get listed. Period.

Leak-Down Test

For used and remanufactured units, we go further with a leak-down test. Pressurized air is fed into each cylinder to reveal exactly where pressure escapes — rings, valves, or head gasket. This tells us the real internal condition, not just a number on a gauge.

Internal Inspection

Sump and oil pan removed. We check for metal particles, sludge, or coolant contamination — the silent killers of engines. If the oil tells a bad story, the engine is rejected or fully rebuilt before sale.

Run Test

Engines that pass all static tests go onto our run stand. We start it cold, monitor oil pressure, check idle stability, listen for bearing knock or timing noise, and verify the cooling system holds temperature. What we hear matters as much as what we measure.

Full Service

A passing engine gets serviced before listing:

• New spark plugs
• New oil filter and fresh oil
• New air filter
• New fuel filter
• New thermostat where required
• Coolant system checked and flushed

Double Sign-Off

No engine is listed on one person's word. Two technicians inspect every unit independently, and both sign off before it goes live. Two sets of eyes. Two signatures. No exceptions.

Honest Listing

We photograph every engine from all angles, publish the actual compression test numbers, and disclose any cosmetic flaws — scratches, corrosion, repaired areas. If it has a flaw, you'll see it in the photos before you buy, not after delivery.

Professional Crating & Shipping

Once you buy, the engine is drained of fluids, sealed, and crated using our 7-step process — engine mounted to a pallet, wrapped, foamed, boxed, and strapped for freight. Your engine arrives the way it left: tested, protected, and ready.
